About Chrysler Building
An Art Deco masterpiece. Was the tallest building for 11 months before the Empire State surpassed it. The stainless steel spire was assembled in secret inside the building and raised through the roof in 90 minutes to win the height race. The gargoyles are eagle heads modeled on Chrysler hood ornaments.
